Pulse Secure is expanding to Europe

One of the most successful companies in the world, working in a secure solutions niche, expands its products. As it was announced on December 8, two of its products: the Pulse Workspace mobility management solution, as well as Pulse One mobility solution are going to be hosted in Europe. They will be delivered from Frankfurt, Germany; from the Amazon Web Services data centre. The products meet European Data Protection laws and all of the compliance standards, including SOC 1, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS Level 1.

The Head of Product Management of the company, Prakash Mana explains that the decision to launch their products in the heart of Europe was caused by the aim to meet local data protection needs of the customers. He said that the company has its client base of about 20,000 customers. This number includes both local small business and large corporations in financial, manufacturing and government sectors. They have their offices working not in the US only, but somewhere in Europe as well. It means that the company can’t provide its customers with a high-quality service.

Mana also said that Pulse Secure is going on working with the regulatory requirements, in order to meet them while doing its business. For example, the next regulatory act that creates issues for the company is GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This and the following standards that are going to be implemented in the future have more strict rules, what makes them harder to follow.

In spite of all of the difficulties, Pulse Secure continues focusing on providing secure access products to its clients.
